Al Riddick, president

Al is founder and president of Game Time Budgeting, an award-winning financial fitness company that assists others in developing behaviors to improve their short- and long-term financial outcomes. For over a decade, Al and his wife, Lesia, have been living debt-free after eliminating $150,000 of financial obligations. Al often says, “We strongly believe in giving every dollar that flows through this household an assignment”. 

As a highly sought-after speaker, Al delivers passionate and inspiring presentations that educate audiences about saving more, spending wisely and maximizing their financial potential.  His message has been shared at Kroger, Procter & Gamble, Toyota, UPS, YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, Xavier University, Wright State University, the University of Cincinnati, and many other organizations.

Al has been featured in Black Enterprise and Money magazines, on radio and ABC, CBS and NBC affiliated television stations. His book, The Uncommon Millionaire: Financial Success Begins with Behavior, was published in 2016.

 

Selina Edwards, Facilitator

Selena is a dynamic speaker and inspirational workshop facilitator.  Her passion for financial literacy is infectious and has been unwavering throughout her 23 years in financial services.   As a learning and development consultant in the banking industry, Selina thrives at developing, delivering, and evaluating sales and leadership workshops for audiences ranging from entry level to senior executives.  When facilitating financial wellness workshops, Selina is able to adapt her presentation style and delivery methods to accommodate adult and youth audiences. Since 2012, Selina has been an annual presenter to Girl Scouts of America while assisting young ladies in the attainment of their Financial Badge. Selina is the mother of two children, Tyquan and Jahmaika.  Her two grandsons, CJ and Cainan, are the joys of her life.

Aaron Kinebrew, Facilitator

Aaron has over 10 years of experience as a professional speaker. His passion for youth fuels his desire to help them become productive citizens.   Aaron graduated from Kent State University after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Individual and Family Sciences. While at Kent State, he also held the position of running back on the football team.   Aaron is passionate about financial literacy and loves sharing lessons learned during his ventures in the real estate industry.  As a serial entrepreneur, he and his wife, Taren, own Sweet Petit Desserts in Cincinnati, where they specialize in creating bite size treats that leave you wanting more.  He and Taren have one daughter, Brooke. In addition to impacting the lives of youth around the country, Aaron is certified in Non-Profit Management through Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management - Executive Education Program.

 

De Asa Nichols, MBA, Business Development Partner

De Asa is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Young Girls Gathering, a financial literacy, mentoring, and character-building organization committed to empowering girls ages 10 to 18. Throughout De Asa’s vast and diverse business background, one of her most cherished accomplishments was serving as Executive Director and President (2001 – 2005) of the Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky African American Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the achievement of over $1 billion in city-wide economic inclusion contracts for minority- and women-owned businesses. Her award-winning diversity expertise has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, DiversityInc and other national publications. De Asa had an early introduction to adult life as a teen mother at age 18. Determined to defy all stereotypes, she pursued higher education and became debt-free in 2014. De Asa is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and enjoys the theatre, concerts, reading, sports, and travel.

Alton Stephens, Facilitator

Alton has the unique qualities of a background in electrical engineering combined with a Master of Business Administration degree.  His passion for personal finance helped him achieve early retirement after working for over 25 years at one of the largest consumer goods companies in the world. During his tenure, Alton was awarded six patents and received dozens of awards recognizing his leadership and outstanding work.  Alton’s skill at strategic planning, building capability systems, and being an expert presenter allow others to not only recognize but unleash their financial potential. You will often hear him say, "My passion is making the less efficient more efficient." Prior to college, Alton achieved the rank of Captain while serving four years in the U. S. Air Force. When he is not spending time with his wife and three daughters, Alton enjoys photography, videography, computers, mentoring and teaching.
